  Absolutely DELICIOUS brisket. It doesn't even need sauce it is THAT well seasoned. Good sausage, which I feel is usually the weak point of a BBQ place. Their ribs are also WONDERFUL, terrific seasoning and a perfect middle ground between dry and "wet" ribs. Tough enough to have some texture, but soft enough to easily tear away from the bone. I don't normally enjoy creamed corn, but this stuff was pretty ok.

  Liked them better years ago when they weren't popular. Popularity has raised the prices and the way they sell meat now. Other than that the owner is great and so is the staff. You want the REAL TEXAS experience this is the place. One more thing FREE BEANS

  We have been here a few times in the past 4 years, and the quality has gone down hill dramatically. Today, my family of four ate, with a tab of over $55. I got the smoked chicken, which was dry and tough, and lacked seasoning. My husband got the ribs and spicy sausage. I tried a rib, which was dry and super tough; borderline jerky. The fried okra was overcooked and dry from being under the heat lamp too long. The mac and cheese was the best part of the meal. We did get an apple cobbler, but it lacked flavor and had a large wad of dough at the bottom that was not edible. The sweet tea is really good, not too sweet. All in all, not worth the price. We won't be coming back.

  Excellent BBQ, excellent variety - brisket, pulled pork, grilled chicken, mild or spicy sausage, shrimp poppers, cooked to order steaks. Beware, it's very easy to over order. That's not much of a problem really, you'll eat too much and then you'll have leftovers for lunch the next day. Believe me, you'll want leftovers. Don't forget to ask for bread. Their sides are pretty standard fair, the only thing that stands out is the giant pot of flavorful Texas pinto beans that sits in the dining room. It's absolutely an all you want serve yourself treat. The only thing that I really didn't care for was the pulled pork. Being from the Carolinas, I have pretty strong opinions regarding pulled pork, and this just wasn't the flavors I was expecting. It was plenty moist, but tasted more like a pot roast than southern pulled pork. I've tried pretty much everything from the smoker, and it's all good, my opinions of the pork, not withstanding.

  First time there, will be a repeat customer when I'm in Dallas. High quality, slow roasted meat and the line, while long, didn't take more than 20 minutes to get through.
  
  I was more than a little disappointed by the length of the line but, it moved quickly enough so progress was made.
  
  The meat was good, pulled pork was outstanding and the brisket had excellent flavor. I used a combination of the spicy apple and regular sauce, they blended together nicely.
  
  As barbeque goes, it is one of the better ones. I don't know that I'd call it the best I've ever had but it is certainly a top five contender. Your dollar will be well spent here.
